Canadian Health Matters was founded in 2010. CHM’s mission is to provide easily accessed, pertinent medical information to emergency responders and medical workers when you cannot respond in an emergency situation.
Founding partners, Ryan Farrell and Alain Bussiere, began building CHM after witnessing a medical emergency involving one of Farrell’s family members. Working as a first responder in Northern Ontario, Farrell, believed there had to be a better way to inform paramedics and emergency room staff of a patient’s pertinent medical information during an emergency. After a year of research and development Canadian Health Matters was born.
Jason Perratt and Julie Laflamme, northeastern Ontario entrepreneurs, are the new owners and developers of the CHM App. With a background in web design and development and a long history of creating apps, Jason and Julie bring a wealth of knowledge, a passion for the product and years of building successful businesses from the ground up.
Working closely with the founding partners, Julie and Jason are working diligently behind the scenes to bring this app to the next level.
